Eclectus parrots can be found in the forests, mangroves, and swamps of New Guinea, Australia, and Indonesia.
DIET
Eclectus parrots use their strong beak to break open the hard shell of seeds and nuts. They also consume fruits, flowers, and other vegetation.

IUCN Status - Least Concern
The illegal pet trade is a major threat to this species.
