Green-winged macaws live in the tropical forests and savannahs of Central and South America.
DIET
Their diet consists of seeds, nuts, flowers, fruits, and other vegetation. They use their strong beak to crack open the hard shells of seeds and nuts.

IUCN Status - Least Concern
The illegal pet trade is one major threat to this species.
